This is part of the industrial area on the south side of Lake Lothing. Part of the dockside of the inner harbour is clearly seen while in the centre of the image the white material is scrap paper at the Maybank waste paper storage depot.

The large factory building in the right foreground was up until recently occupied by Task Drives but is now part of Sanyo UK Ltd.

Notice the large area of car parking in the foreground, a feature of most modern industrial premises. Oulton Broad and Mutford Bridge is found to the west (left) of this area.
