This is to the south east of Lowestoft town centre and features the marina and the start of the south beach. The marina provides sheltered anchorage, repairs, chandlery and yacht club facilities.

The beach and Esplanade run southwards (left) from the town and are an important area for the tourist trade.

The entrance from the outer harbour to the inner harbour and Lake Lothing can be seen in the top right along with the lifting bridge.
