Hadleigh - Sports Facilities

This is the valley and flood-plain of the River Brett to the south west of Hadleigh town centre.

The land is not really suitable for housing as it is liable to flood. The line of houses mark the eastern edge of the safe flood-plain. There are some old industrial buildings in this area as the land was cheap. A mill pond can be seen along with Benton Street that leads from the southern end of the High Street.

This is an area which is now used for recreation facilities. The once agricultural land now being used by the football club and other sports.
