This shows the junction of the A11 with the A1101 to the south east of Mildenhall. The A11 carries a lot of traffic to Norwich and the large roundabout speeds the flow of vehicles. Where a number of routeways meet has always been an attractive location for trade due to ease of access and the number of potential customers passing through the area.

Around the roundabout are facilities for motorists including garages, a filling station, hotel accommodation and a restaurant. This area lies at the edge of the Brecklands, a major area of forestry in East Anglia.
