Fornham All Saints - Allotments

These are the allotment gardens at Fornham All Saints near Bury St Edmunds. A field has been given over to allotments where people have small parcels of land to grow vegetables and flowers. This type of land use is most often associated with cramped urban areas such as Ipswich but it has become important even in relatively rural areas as modern houses tend to have small gardens.

To the top of the image a sports field can be seen complete with the white markings of a football pitch and its goal mouth.
