Tattingstone - Village South (19 / I1):

Tattingstone - Village South

This is a close up view of part of Tattingstone village. Alton Water reservoir can be seen in the distance. The land is intensively farmed and in the foreground is Pond Hall Farm, a market garden, which supplies vegetables to the local area.

The large country house on the west bank of the reservoir is Tattingstone Place. This is surrounded by parkland, a considerable amount of which was flooded during the construction of Alton Water.
