Clare - Church (3 / H(b)):

Clare - Church

The village centre of Clare on the A1092 between Sudbury and Haverhill is clearly seen in this image. The church stands by itself surrounded by roads which are faced by the old houses that make up the village.

The coal yard in the top centre can be clearly seen. This would have been originally supplied by the railway which used to run through the village. This is now disused.
