Sudbury - Friar's Meadow (2 / f):

Sudbury - Friar's Meadow

This area to the south east of Sudbury town centre exhibits a variety of contrasting land uses.

Industrial areas can be seen at the top along with houses in the residential areas on the left.

To the right an out of town shopping development, like the one at Mildenhall, can be seen. This has a large area set aside for car parking as most people shop for more than one week at one go. The disused railway line can be seen cutting diagonally across the bottom right of the photograph on its way round the southern part of the town.
