This is to the east of Sudbury town centre. The road and railway line, seen in the left of the picture, avoid the wet flood-plain of the River Stour.

The new housing development has been built within the confines of a disused quarry and is well shielded by the trees from the adjacent low rise light industrial units. These units are located close to the main road for easy movement of raw materials and for finished products.
