Welcome to Thorpe Park's Help Page.

To help you to move around our site, you will find a menu-bar on most pages - this one is typical. Just click on the button that you require, and you will jump to the relevant page. You can always return to the 'Home' page by clicking on the hand that points to the left, and reach this page by clicking on the hand pointing right.

These pages are designed to be used with Netscape version 3 ... for all the amazing features of these pages to work properly, you must have your 'Preferences' set correctly. Specifically, you must configure the 'Helper' for QuickTime.

Six easy steps to configure the Quicktime Plug in for Netscape3/4
  1. From the Netscape Options menu, choose Preferences.
    The Preferences window opens, showing Window and Link Styles.
  2. From the menu displaying Window and Link Styles, choose Helper Applications.
    The window changes to show the Helper Applications settings.
  3. Select the Mime Type video/quicktime.
    You'll need to scroll down to it, and the options aren't in alphabetical order.
  4. Click the Plug in button.
  5. Select the Quicktime Plug in.
  6. Click OK.
The Preferences window closes.

That's it. Now when you go to a Page with a Quicktime movie on it, it will load automatically.
