INDUSTRIAL PLACEMENTS
If you are currently studying for a qualification in Leisure & Tourism or if you just feel that one of our many departments can offer you the kind of experience you need to get from your Placement then Thorpe Park could be the place for you.
Our special Supervisory Development Programme, new for the 1997 season, will ensure that you get the best from your Industrial Placement and get the opportunity to develop your interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
We offer competitive rates of pay, an attractive bonus scheme and company discounts. And when the work is over you will be invited to join in with our hectic social programme.
Placements can be considered any time between March and November.
We will be inviting students to special placement days at Thorpe Park during October to December where you will get the chance to see first hand what it is like to work at Britain's favourite family leisure park.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Again you may be studying Leisure & Tourism, or just be genuinely interested in the leisure industry.
We can accept work experience placements for two weeks or more. You will be provided with our costume free of charge, and you will gain first hand experience of working at this exciting family venue.
Who knows? you may enjoy it so much, you will come back for your seasonal work.
SEASONAL WORK
We have a wide variety of different departments, all of which will be looking for seasonal staff for the 1997 season.
You may be looking for a full time position for the whole season, or looking for a summer job. You may want to work part time, in which case we can offer hours to suit your needs. You may have retail, cleaning or ride operating experience and fancy a new challenge. Or you may be looking for your first step in the leisure industry. Whatever is the case there is something for you at the Great Thorpe Park.
