Hello there! We are the Thorpe Park Rangers and we have a lot of fun making sure YOU have a lot of fun when you come for a day at the park.
| CHIEF RANGER
Right. Are you all concentrating? When you see me down at The Great Thorpe Park, I expect a crisp salute, shoulders back, and I want a full report on all the fun you've been having. Plus I always like an update on the latest rugby score. I suppose you happy-go-lucky kids probably won't make a detailed plan of action like we did in my day, so here's my advice. Get hold of our Great Thorpe Park leaflet. First of all, have a good look at our map, essential to any operation. Then you can always find the rides you want, set up a rendezvous with your friends or explore the vast range of attractions. And as I'm Chief Ranger, you're officially invited for a ride on the Chief Ranger's Carousel. So synchronise watches and get on parade! | ![]() |

Yo, I'm here. Naah, not there.....up here. Geez...some people. Now you're bound to see me hanging around at Great Thorpe Park, cos I'm the one that really gets things happenin'. Oh yes, Monkey by name and Monkey by nature, that's me! Gotta admit though, that officious Chief Ranger gives me a run for my money, and I just love playing tricks on him. May be you can give me a hand some time? But listen, you guys are gonna have a wild time here, and be sure to swing by and check out my own Banana Ride in Ranger Country for a real jungle experience! Oh-oh, here comes the Chief Ranger - gotta dash! |
| MR RABBIT
Hey, so you finally caught up with me! Impressive, this Internet thing. Almost as quick as me. What? You want to know about me? Let's run over a few details, then. What really makes me tick is getting around, at speed. I'll bet I've even been to your home town....OK, it must have been a flying visit, then. But still, you get my point. And I'm not just talking about Britain. That's why they've got Mr Rabbit's Tropical Travels here at The Great Thorpe Park - but don't try it unless you've got a real taste for adventure, and you don't mind a bit of river travel too! And you know what people say? They say I'm impatient. But I don't have time for their comments. What I like most about TGTP - try saying it like that, it's so much quicker - is that there are so many rides, so you couldn't possibly get bored if you stayed for a year! | ![]() |

Now, where was I? Oh Yes, of course, I was going to introduce myself. Under these books down here I wrote down some - yeeeouch! It's really no joke bending down indoors. Well, in scientific terms I'm, er...probably the tallest quadruped you'll come across - that means four legged animal, by the way. When you need some facts or figures, just ask and I'm sure I'll be able to help you. And I might even show you a trick or two. I haven't yet counted every single ride at Great Thorpe Park, but see how many you can go on and keep a note for me. By..er..way of saying 'au revoir' (French for 'good-bye')...I'll just say see you down there, unless you're taller than me, of course! |
| MR ELEPHANT
Hullo...you just caught me napping. Mmmm..I don't think you'll have much difficulty recognising me, as I'm the biggest thing around, apart from some of the rides of course! the Great Thorpe Park's a constant temptation for me, as I can always sniff our new places to eat - Burger King, KFC, The Quayside and of course, Pot Bellies restaurant. You might well see me at the picnic area they named after me. And if it's a nice day, you could persuade me to help you win at Tug of War, although I have to say I'm rather partial to an afternoon snooze. And after a day with us, you're sure to go home tired too....but happy! | ![]() |

Hi, I'm sure you're gonna like it here as much as I do. There's so many fun characters to meet and play with - there's the other Rangers, for a start, and all the visitors we get every day. And the rides...wow. I'm not big enough for some of the rides yet. but I will be soon. It's so big here, you can get really tired trying to do everything in one day. But you can use the Canada Creek Railway and the Thorpe Park Farm Waterbus to get from one end to the other. I get a bit lost sometimes but someone always helps me out. It's handy being so small sometimes! So when are you coming? |
