• 'All About Me', produced by Lewisham EMAS. Price: £15.00 + p&p. This is a starter book that is very useful for the newly arrived pupil’s first few weeks in school. It is advertised for key stage 2, but it can be used for older pupils with no English. • A compact disc is also available from the Minority Ethnic Achievement Team at SSPDC. This disk is suitable for use as an induction tool for pupils arriving in Key stage 3 or 4. There are a variety of resources that can be printed from the disc and lots of ideas of how to teach English. The CD is called Suffolk LEA Basic English Toolkit, Beginners Book. Price: £3.50.
