At Key Stage 1 pupils need a culturally diverse learning environment.

There are many opportunities to create a diverse learning environment to reflect the diversity of cultures in British society. They include the choice of text for literacy, the contexts used for numeracy, history and geography, the images and inspirational sources for art and music, and the objects and images displayed in the classroom and around the school.
